Overview: 
This scholarship is for high school seniors who will attend a 2-year college in the fall.
Scholarship Requirements: 

1. Student must be a high school senior.
2. Must demonstrate academic and leadership excellence.
3. Student, parents or grandparents must be members of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association for 2 consecutive years.

Alabama Equestrian / Rodeo Team Member Scholarship by ACA

Overview: 
This scholarship is for students who are horse riders.
Scholarship Requirements: 

1. Student must be part of an equestrian or rodeo team at any college in Alabama.
2. Student must demonstrate academic and leadership excellence.
Student, parents or grandparents must be members of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association for 2 consecutive years.

Auburn University Dept of Animal Science Scholarship by ACA

Overview: 
This scholarship is for the graduate students in the Auburn University Dept of Animal Science with a strong livestock focus and research focused on beef cattle.

Auburn University Veterinary School Scholarship by ACA

Overview: 
This scholarships is available to students in the Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine who have a strong livestock focus and intention to practice large animal medicine.

Cowboy Tag Scholarships

Overview: 
The Cowboy Tag scholarship is given in partnership with the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association with proceeds generated from the sale of the “Cowboy Tag”.
Scholarship Requirements: 

1. The student must be a high school senior planning to attend a 4-year university.
2. The student must have an academic and leadership excellence
3. Student, parents or grandparents must be members of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association for 2 consecutive years.

Alabama Horse Council Scholarship

Overview: 
The Alabama Horse Council Scholarship is awarded to students studying in an Alabama college or university.
Scholarship Requirements: 

1. Student or the parent, must be a current member of the Alabama Horse Council in good standing.
2) Student must be majoring in a field of study preparing them for a career in the equine industry.
3) Student must have demonstrated a record of activity in the equine industry prior to college application.
Complete the one-page cover form.
4) Student must submit two letters of reference attesting to the applicant’s commitment to the equine industry, activity in the industry and character.
5) Student must submit a short (500 word maximum) essay about how horses have shaped your life and the goals you wish to pursue in the horse industry.
6) Student must submit a list of activities and honors received (high school, college, civic, church, clubs, etc.).

Cecil Lane Family Scholarship

Overview: 
This scholarship is for students who are the incoming freshmen at the Auburn University and have ties with the beef and cattle industry.
Scholarship Requirements: 

1. Student must be the resident of Alabama.
2. Student must have a good academic standing.
3. Student must be the child or grandchild of an Alabama Cattle Association member.

Birmingham District Alabama Dietetic Association Scholarships

Overview: 
This scholarships is for students pursuing graduate and undergraduate level education in human nutrition, dietetics, foods, nutrition, or food systems management in the state of Alabama. The scholarship is managed by The Alabama Dietetic Association (ALDA) who is an affiliate of the American Dietetic Association.
Scholarship Requirements: 

1. Student must be a studying in their junior, senior or graduate program. Interns are also eligible.
2. Student must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
3. Student must have a financial need.
4. Student must demonstrate leadership skills.
5. Student must be involved in community.
6. Student must have letters of recommendation.
7. Student must be interested in pursuing a career in dietetics or nutrition.
8. Student must be a resident of one of the following counties:

Alabama Student Grant Programs

Overview: 
The state of Alabama offers a $1200 grant to students interested in attending an undergraduate college or a vocational program.
Scholarship Requirements: 

1. Student must be planning to attend an undergraduate college or a vocational training school in the State of Alabama.
2. Student must be a resident of Alabama.
3. Student must have a financial need.
4. Student must a minimum of 2.0 GPA.

1. Student must be an Alabama resident.
2. Student must be attending an undergraduate program.

Student must fill out the free financial aid application through their college's financial aid office.
